3. Hot Rubber Crack Sealing + Oil-Based Coat Applied
Hot rubber is poured into any active cracks, then we apply our premium oil-based sealcoat for maximum penetration, flexibility, and a deep rich finish.
4. Stay Off It for 4-6 Hours
That's it. Let it cure and you're done. Most driveways are ready for light foot traffic in 2-4 hours and vehicle traffic within 4-6 hours.

If your asphalt requires extra patching, heavy degreasing, or significant crack repair, we'll line-item those adjustments during your free on-site visit. What makes oil-based sealcoat better than standard water-based products?
Oil-based sealcoat penetrates deeper into the asphalt, restores lost flexibility, and bonds more durably than water-based alternatives — especially in climates with hard winters like South Dakota. The result is better protection, a richer black finish, and a longer service life.
What is hot rubber crack sealing and why does it matter?
Hot rubber is a flexible, rubberized sealant poured directly into cracks while heated. It bonds to the crack walls, stays flexible through freeze-thaw cycles, and prevents water from getting underneath the asphalt where it causes the most damage.
